In order to reduce the adult mosquito population and the risk of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), aerial spraying for mosquitoes will occur during the evening and nighttime hours (8PM-4AM). An insecticide will be applied by an airplane to areas where mosquitoes carrying the EEE virus have been identified. No special actions are needed by residents. Weather and other conditions permitting, the insecticide application will occur sometime between 8PM and 4AM beginning on: Sunday, September 29th. Spraying may occur on additional subsequent evenings, as the weather permits.
